Han Verstraete joined Goldman Sachs in London in 1995 after finishing his LL.M in Banking and Finance at the London School of Economics. He left Goldmans in 2001 to launch his first venture, and has since exited two successful businesses, the latest one in a trade sale to Lehman Brothers in March 2008. Thoroughly disillusioned about Wall Street and its workings, Han used the years after the financial crisis to sail a lot and deep-dive into technology, setting up Han Ventures in Palo Alto and basing himself out of Singapore. where he founded Otonomos in early 2015.
